GYTA53 loose tube stranded direct burial cable
Classification :
Keywords:
Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable
Single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers are placed into loose tubes made of a high-modulus polyester material, with the tubes filled with a water-blocking compound. At the center of the cable core lies a metallic strength member; for certain fiber counts, this metallic strength member is further covered with an extruded layer of polyethylene (PE). The loose tubes (along with any filler rods) are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact, circular cable core, with the interstices within the core filled with a water-blocking compound. A double-sided chrome-plated, polymer-coated steel tape (PSP) is applied longitudinally, followed by an extruded polyethylene outer sheath to complete the cable.
Features and Applications
Good compressive strength
Excellent mechanical properties and temperature characteristics
Suitable for conduit, aerial, and direct-buried installation
