304 Stainless Steel Ball

304 stainless steel ball is the most widely used steel ball on the market. It can be used in medical equipment, chemical industry, aerospace, plastic hardware, motors, switches, washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners, auto parts, bearings, instruments.

Features:

A typical representative of austenitic steel, generally non-magnetic, but magnetic after polishing, HRC <= 26. Has good anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties.

Comparison:

304HC stainless steel ball is softer and easier to process than 304 stainless steel ball, while 304L stainless steel ball has stronger anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties than the above two, is easy to weld, has excellent polishing properties, and is more suitable for industries with higher surface requirements.

Applications: Special bearings, pumps, horticultural and household sprayers, perfume miniature pumps, sprayers, valves for medical applications, etc. They are used in the aerospace, military, and food industries.

Corrosion resistance: It has good corrosion resistance to organic matter, oxidation, bactericidal solutions, atmospheric corrosion, and dye performance. They are not resistant to sulphuric acid solutions. The corrosion resistance of AISI 302 is slightly better than that of AISI 304/304L stainless steel. Balls are provided under passivated conditions.
