420 stainless steel balls are usually used in industries that require high precision and rust resistance, such as motorcycle accessories, pulleys, stainless steel bearings, plastic bearings, handicrafts, valves, and petroleum.

Features:

A representative of martensitic steel, commonly known as stainless iron, magnetic, with good rust resistance and high hardness of HRC50-55.

Profile

AISI 420 stainless steel balls demonstrate good wear characteristics and hardness. Slightly less hardness and greater corrosion resistance, when compared to 440C.

Corrosion Resistance

Stainless steel balls have excellent resistance to corrosion from mild atmospheres, fresh water, steam, blood, ammonia, petroleum products, and mild acidic environments.

Hardness

Rockwell C 48-52 measured on parallel flats.

Application: Similar to AISI 420C balls, hardness and wear resistance are lower when required.Special bearing, automobile safety belt, and spare parts, special pump, lighter, ballpoint pen. Balls of these materials resist in contact with water, steam, oil, and petrol. Corrosion Resistance：AISI 420A/420B steels offer a corrosion resistance similar to 420C steel.
